You know what they say? If you wait long enough, almost any trend will come back. It’s true! Do you remember the “Flower Power” slogan that was used by hippies (aka Flower Children) during the late 60’s and early 70’s? The Allegro at Helmwood had its very own Flower Power revolution, no; this is nothing like the Flower Power of the 60’s and 70’s. You won’t find any residents running around in flowery clothing, wearing flowers in their hair and flashing peace signs at you. The residents spent the day using their flower power in making flower arrangements for each other to be place in their own apartments. These lovely roses were donated by E‐Town Florist from Valentine’s Holiday.
One thing is for certain... The Allegro at Helmwood, residents really did take time to stop and smell the roses. Thank you, E‐town Florist for providing a wonderful day of Flower Power for our residents. The Allegro at Helmwood is an assisted living residence predominantly serving the older adult senior with senior lifestyle alternatives. The community is dedicated to the life engagement philosophy of social, psychological, spiritual, and physical well‐being of every individual. This dedication is reflected in every effort our community makes in caring for our residents.
The Allegro at Helmwood’s intent is to allow each resident to function independently at their level of ability, while providing care and assistance where needed.
