Allegro Celebrates Groundbreaking on Senior Living Community in Parkland, Florida

Parkland, Fla. - Allegro Senior Living, a St. Louis-based company specializing in the development and operation of luxury senior housing communities, celebrated the groundbreaking of its newest community located at 5900 Loxahatchee Road, Parkland, FL 33067.

More than 25 people were in attendance to celebrate the momentous occasion. Local dignitaries included Commissioner Grace Solomo, Commissioner Bob Mayersohn, Commissioner Ken Cutler, Mayor Christine Hunchofsky, and Vice Mayor Stacy Kagan. Attendees from Allegro included Laurence Schiffer, Chairman and CEO; Joseph Miklich, Vice President of Development and Acquisitions; and Jason Rock, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

“The most important stakeholder is our residents. We can’t wait to unveil this beautiful new community for the residents of Parkland, Florida,” said Laurence Schiffer, Allegro Chairman and CEO.

At the groundbreaking, Allegro provided a check for $375,000 to the city of Parkland commemorating Allegro’s donation of an emergency response vehicle to Parkland.

The property will boast Allegro's award-winning design and distinctive services with 175 independent living, assisted living, and memory care apartments. The community sits on an 8-acres at the intersection of US-441 and Loxahatchee Road. It will also feature Allegro's signature Ensemble Memory Care program, which is known for rejuvenating the mind, body, and spirit.
