Allegro Senior Living, LLC, a company specializing in the development and operation of luxury senior housing communities throughout Florida, hosted the official ground breaking ceremony for their tenth Allegro community which took place on Tuesday, April 19th in the Casselberry/Winter Park area of Orlando, Florida. Attendees included the Mayor of Casselberry and other city officials, designers, contractors and principals from Allegro Senior Living and Allegro Development Company.
Located near Lake Howell at the intersection of 436 and Howell Branch Road, the luxury rental community sits on a 17.3-acre site that provides lake front views of Lake Ann. The community will contain 158 units within 175,000 square feet offering independent living, assisted living and memory care with services and amenities designed to satisfy the needs of the residents. First occupancy is scheduled for summer 2017. Architectural design is provided by Besselo Design Group and construction services are provided by Welbro Building Corporation out of Maitland, FL. The City of Casselberry has been instrumental in the success of the project. “We are very grateful you chose the Casselberry community for this project,” says Mayor Charlene Glancy, “It’s clear the quality product you provide. Allegro will primarily cater to independent residents, with separate wings to accommodate assisted living and memory care services. The property will boast luxury accommodations such as a full-service salon & spa, stadium theater, fitness center, concierge service, housekeeping service and 24-hour staffing with an active social program. Accommodations also comprise of multiple restaurant-style dining venues including a bistro and patio dining with a gas fire pit, providing views of Lake Ann. When fully occupied, Allegro anticipates creating 120 full and part-time jobs in addition to 225 construction jobs.
