Allegro Welcomes New Executive Director in Winter Park

Winter Park, Fla. - Allegro is pleased to announce that Debbie Michelet has joined the community as Executive Director. Michelet will directly oversee the sales and operations of Allegro located in Winter Park, set to open in 2017. She will focus on creating a resident-centered community with first-rate care, services and amenities.

“I am excited to build a team that shares my same passion for serving our residents, families and associates,” says Michelet. “I consider it a great honor to work with the men and women of the greatest generation.”

Michelet has been in the senior living industry for 30 years and has industry experience in all levels of management and operations.  Having served in various leadership positions at a corporate and a community level, Michelet has a wide-range of experience in managing and operating senior communities.

Michelet is based out of Allegro’s Visitor Center that will be opening in August 2016 on the construction site at 2701 Howell Branch Road. Winter Park, FL 32792.  The community is currently under construction but will encompass 158 units for independent living, assisted living and memory care.  Future residents will receive a resort-style experience and amenities all designed to satisfy the needs and desires of seniors.

Michelet was born in Jacksonville, Florida and was raised in Central Florida. She has been happily married for nearly 36 years and has three adult children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, antiquing, and spending time with her family. She also loves her new role as grandma to her first granddaughter.
